How Telehealth Works

A step-by-step guide to your care experience at Two Hands Healing Arts.

1

Choose Your Service

Select the service you need from our homepage. Each service has its own dedicated portal with specific information about cost, eligibility, and what to expect.

2

Complete Your Health Intake

Fill out our secure, HIPAA-compliant health questionnaire. This typically takes 5–10 minutes and helps your provider understand your health history and needs.

3

Provider Review

A licensed provider in your state reviews your intake. If they have any questions, they may reach out via our secure messaging system before proceeding.

4

Care Delivery

Your provider sends your prescription to a pharmacy or coordinates delivery. For consultative services, you'll connect via secure video or messaging.

5

Follow-Up Support

Your care doesn't end after the first interaction. Follow-up messages, check-ins, and additional provider access are available as part of your care plan.

Telehealth is healthcare delivered remotely — through secure video consultations, messaging, and online forms — instead of in-person visits. At Two Hands Healing Arts, you complete a brief health questionnaire online, a licensed provider reviews your intake, and care is delivered digitally: prescriptions sent to your pharmacy or home, results communicated securely, and follow-up support provided through our platform. No waiting rooms, no travel, no hassle.
Absolutely. We are fully HIPAA-compliant, which means your health information is protected by federal law. We use end-to-end encryption for all communications and never share your information with third parties — including advertisers, employers, or family members — without your explicit written consent. Our platform is designed with privacy as the default, not an afterthought.
We currently offer services in 22+ states. Because telehealth regulations and provider licensing vary by state, availability may differ by service. When you begin your intake, you'll be asked to confirm your state of residence, and we'll let you know immediately if the specific service you need is available to you. We're actively working to expand our coverage.
No. We offer both insurance-accepted and self-pay options. Many of our services are available at transparent, upfront prices without insurance. We believe cost should never be a barrier to care, so we work to keep our services as accessible as possible. Contact us to ask about current pricing for any specific service.
Depending on the medication and your preference, prescriptions can be sent to a local pharmacy of your choice, or shipped directly to your home through a licensed mail-order pharmacy. Discreet packaging is always available. Shipping timelines vary but are typically 1–5 business days. You'll receive tracking information and be able to reach your provider with questions at any time.
Yes. Medication abortion (using mifepristone and misoprostol) has a strong safety record and has been used by millions of people worldwide for over 30 years. It is more than 95% effective and is approved by the FDA. Our providers will review your complete health history before prescribing to ensure it's the right choice for you, and you'll have access to clinical support throughout the process.
For any non-emergency concerns, contact your provider directly through our platform — we offer asynchronous messaging and same-day response times. For urgent concerns that may indicate a complication, visit your nearest emergency room or call 911. You can also contact the National Abortion Federation (NAF) Hotline for additional support. We provide clear aftercare instructions with every prescription and are available to you throughout your recovery.
If you use insurance, your insurer will receive a claim that includes basic information about services rendered. If privacy from a plan-holder (such as a parent or spouse) is a concern, we recommend using our self-pay option. We can also discuss strategies to maximize your privacy during your intake process. Your wellbeing and safety are our priority.
Most patients receive a response from a licensed provider within the same business day, and often within a few hours of submitting their intake form. For time-sensitive services like emergency contraception, we prioritize rapid turnaround. Our team works Monday through Saturday, with expanded hours available depending on your service.
Minors may be able to access certain services depending on state law. Many states allow minors to consent to their own reproductive healthcare without parental involvement. During your intake, we'll help you understand your rights and options in your specific state. If you have concerns, please reach out before starting your intake and our care team will guide you.
GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) medications, such as semaglutide, are FDA-approved treatments for chronic weight management that work by reducing appetite and improving metabolic function. They're typically recommended for adults with a BMI of 30+, or 27+ with a weight-related health condition. Our providers will review your full health history to determine if GLP-1 therapy is appropriate for you and will monitor your progress throughout treatment.
It's simple. Visit our Services page, choose the service you need, and click "Learn More" or "Get Started" to be taken to that service's dedicated portal. You'll complete a short, secure health intake — typically 5–10 minutes — and a provider will review your information and reach out. There's no commitment required just to complete an intake.
